So... this may sound weird but sometimes I feel claustrophobic in my clothes. It's like my clothes are closing in on me. Hah, no pun intended. Seriously though, I put on a what I consider a fairly comfortable outfit and by the end of the day I can't get out of it fast enough. I feel like I can't breathe. Why can't I just wear yoga pants, a t-shirt, and flip flops every day? Then I wouldn't have this whole "clothes closing in" issue.
On an unrelated issue... when I have a really bad day at work - a day that never seems to end (like today) - I need a really good pick-me-up, so I sometimes turn to ... voicemail. That's right, those tender little messages I get from loved ones. I have a habit of saving some of my favorites, ones that remind me I'm loved. I have some from my mom, my sister, my friends, my grandmas... it's great. They make me smile and laugh. Some of the messages are significant songs from the radio, others are little ditties sung by the message givers, and others still are cool moments in time like when my sister called from Israel or when grandma called for my birthday or when my other grandma heard I was sick and wanted to see how I was doing. So, my tender message giving peeps... I salute you. Thank you for thinking of me. I love you!

conference weekend... 3 days away and counting
General Conference is this weekend and I can't hardly wait!!! Two days of blissful learning opportunities. For those of you who may not know what General Conference is .... it is a world wide meeting for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka Mormons; LDS). It happens twice a year over the course of a Saturday and Sunday. Members of the LDS faith around the world come together and are instructed and uplifted by the leaders of the church. Because of the advancements in technology I get to spend the whole weekend viewing the conference in the comfort of my home via satellite. It is a brilliant thing. I love conference and cannot wait for it to begin. Conference is available to anyone interested in participating.... so feel free to tune in or go visit the LDS church closest to your home. You won't regret it!

pics from vacation. as promised.
So, as promised, here are some photos of my fun adventures over my precious two week vacation. These photos are mostly of my time in Orlando.. with some of time visiting my dear siblings and nieces/nephews. So much fun. I'm ready to go back and do it again! I didn't take many of my time in Universal because I was trying to get in as many rides as possible and didn't want to lug the camera around, particularly since a lot of the time I was getting wet. SeaWorld was super cool... and I got lots of animal photos.
Cute little Miles. I want to eat him.
This was taken at a park in Scranton where Cameron and Karen live. We hiked up to the tree house. This is such a classic picture of the kids.
SHAMU! SHAMU! SHAMU!
Some of Shamu's killer whale friends.
Simple little back flip from a ginormous whale. No biggie.
Baby dolphins at Seaworld. There was this little nursing tank for the baby dolphins. So cute.
This is the view of the resort where we stayed. We were across the street at the trolley stop. I loved riding on the trolley. It was so cheap and convenient.
Aren't we precious. It took me like 50 takes to get this pic because Mel kept making funny goofball faces. They were actually pretty funny. It reminded me of the photo shoot I made Emily go through with me a few Christmases ago.
The Hard Rock Cafe is part of City Walk at Universal. We ate there one of the nights we were there. They had this whole room dedicated to Elvis. Nice.
I took this for Ethan. It's a really cool 3D ride at Universal. Spiderman saves you from bad guys by throwing his web. So cool.

9/11

Just a little note to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11 and those who have lost their lives since in defending our nations freedoms. God Bless America!!!

I may have lost my voice. I really miss that stadium energy but loved loved loved watching instant replays and getting close ups on all the action.
